I was surprised khổng lồ see Break Shot based on billiards because pool doesn't feel like a "sport" that translates well onlớn paper.The matches are short at the professional level (about 4 lớn 5 minutes long)Billiards is about accuracy & techniques (which all players practice) rather than individual styleIt's turn basedA match can end without the other player shooting a single shot (i.e. running the table).None of those points create a compelling shounen series which is probably why the mangaka went the PoT route.
